Sure, the Clouds affect Kitesurfing in Mui Ne Vietnam especially in the south wind season.
The clouds can stop the wind. in the south season in Mui Ne from June to September there are south wind but also there are clouds and rain.
In the most days in this season the wind will come around at 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. but in the wind reach peak at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. there are cloud and rain in the end of the day.so the wind will stop.
That mean, there are the good weather and water but the wind is not regular and Thunderstorms come at any time.
So, you need to watching the sky during kiting in south wind season in Mui Ne. If you see the clouds block the direction of the wind then just come back to shore as soon as possible.
When the clouds appear at the direction of the winds then probably the rain will come or not but certainly the wind will stop. so, don’t try to kiting in that time.
